Description
Soft, chewy dog treats made with zucchini and bone broth.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup bone broth
- 1/2 cup pureed zucchini
- 1/4 cup unflavored gelatin powder
- 1 tablespoon coconut flour
Instructions
- Pour bone broth into a small saucepan.
- Sprinkle gelatin powder over the broth and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in the pureed zucchini and coconut flour until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into silicone molds shaped like small bones or small squares.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
- Remove the gummies from the molds and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Store these soft treats in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- You can substitute sweet potato puree for zucchini if your dog prefers it.
