Description

Soft, chewy dog treats made with zucchini and bone broth.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup bone broth
  • 1/2 cup pureed zucchini
  • 1/4 cup unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flour

Instructions

  1. Pour bone broth into a small saucepan.
  2. Sprinkle gelatin powder over the broth and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  3. Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not boil.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the pureed zucchini and coconut flour until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture into silicone molds shaped like small bones or small squares.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  7. Remove the gummies from the molds and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Store these soft treats in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • You can substitute sweet potato puree for zucchini if your dog prefers it.
