- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup fresh or frozen sweet peas
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
- Add ground turkey to the skillet. Break it apart with a spoon and cook until browned.
- Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
- Stir in the sweet peas.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the peas are tender and heated through.
- Season with salt and black pepper to your preference.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, you can lightly mash some of the sweet peas before serving.
