Description

A simple and healthy jerky recipe for post-workout recovery.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°F (77°C) or set your dehydrator to the same temperature.
  2. In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped spinach, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Lay the mixture flat on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, about 1/4 inch thick. Alternatively, you can press the mixture into jerky strips.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 4-6 hours, or dehydrate for 4-8 hours, until the jerky is dry and firm. Flip the jerky halfway through the cooking process for even drying.
  5. Let the jerky cool completely before storing.

Notes

  • You can adjust the spices to your preference.
  • Ensure the jerky is completely dry to prevent spoilage.
