Description

Soft, chewy gummies made with sweet potato and bone broth for your dog’s health.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sweet potato puree
  • 1 cup beef bone broth, cooled
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Combine the bone broth and water in a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the liquid and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  2. Gently heat the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is fully dissolved. Do not boil the mixture.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the sweet potato puree until completely smooth.
  4. If using, lightly grease a silicone mold (small candy or gummy molds work well) with coconut oil.
  5. Carefully pour the mixture into the molds.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 3 to 4 hours, or until the gummies are firm.
  7. Once set, gently remove the gummies from the molds.
  8. Store the finished gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken bone broth for beef bone broth.
  • If you do not have silicone molds, you can pour the mixture into a shallow, parchment-lined baking dish and cut into small squares once set.
  • Adjust the amount of bone broth slightly if the mixture seems too thick or too thin before pouring into molds.
