Description

A simple and healthy soft jerky treat for your dog, made with rabbit and parsley.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground rabbit
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°F (77°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine the ground rabbit, chopped parsley, and water. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Spread the mixture thinly and evenly onto the prepared baking sheet, about 1/8 inch thick.
  4. Bake for 4-6 hours, or until the jerky is dry and firm but still pliable. The exact time will depend on your oven and the thickness of the jerky.
  5. Let the jerky cool completely on the baking sheet.
  6. Once cooled, break or cut the jerky into bite-sized pieces.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Notes

  • Ensure the parsley is very finely chopped to avoid large pieces in the jerky.
  • You can adjust the baking time to achieve your desired level of dryness.
  • This jerky is a treat and should be given in moderation.
