Simple homemade gummies made with bone broth, pumpkin, and apple for a healthy dog treat.
Ingredients

- 2 cups beef or chicken bone broth
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (plain, unsweetened)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 4 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
Instructions
- Pour 1/2 cup of the bone broth into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the broth and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- Heat the saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not boil.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Whisk in the remaining 1 1/2 cups of bone broth, pumpkin puree, and apple sauce until fully combined.
- Pour the mixture into silicone molds (small candy molds or ice cube trays work well).
- Refrigerate for at least 3 to 4 hours, or until completely firm.
- Pop the gummies out of the molds and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Store these treats in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- You can substitute sweet potato puree for pumpkin if desired.
- Use bone broth made without added salt or onion/garlic powder.
