Description

Simple recipe for homemade digestive support gummies for dogs using papaya and bone broth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup beef bone broth, cooled
  • 1/2 cup pureed ripe papaya
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil, melted

Instructions

  1. Combine the cooled bone broth and pureed papaya in a small saucepan.
  2. Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the liquid mixture and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  3. Heat the mixture gently over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is fully dissolved. Do not boil.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the melted coconut oil.
  5. Pour the mixture into silicone molds (gummy or small square molds work well).
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 to 3 hours, or until completely firm.
  7. Once firm, pop the gummies out of the molds.
  8. Store the finished gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken bone broth for beef bone broth.
  • Ensure the papaya is very ripe for natural sweetness.
  • Feed these as a daily supplement or treat.
