  • Total Time: 15 min
  • Yield: Approximately 30-40 small gummies 1x
  • Diet: Low Fat

Description

Simple recipe for homemade bone broth gummies designed to support your dog’s joint health.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Beef Bone Broth (low sodium)
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 4 tablespoons Unflavored Gelatin Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder (optional, for color/anti-inflammatory)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coconut Oil (for greasing mold)

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease silicone molds with coconut oil.
  2. Pour the water into a small saucepan and sprinkle the gelatin powder evenly over the top. Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  3. Gently heat the saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not boil.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the beef bone broth and turmeric powder, if using. Mix until fully combined.
  5. Carefully pour the liquid mixture into the prepared silicone molds.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 3 to 4 hours, or until completely firm.
  7. Once set, gently pop the gummies out of the molds.
  8. Store the gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Use bone broth made without onions or garlic, as these are toxic to dogs.
  • If you do not have silicone molds, you can pour the mixture into a shallow, parchment-lined dish and cut it into small squares once set.
  • Feed these as a treat; do not exceed recommended daily serving based on your dog’s size.
