Description
Simple recipe for homemade bone broth gummies designed to support your dog’s joint health.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups Beef Bone Broth (low sodium)
- 1/2 cup Water
- 4 tablespoons Unflavored Gelatin Powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder (optional, for color/anti-inflammatory)
- 1/2 teaspoon Coconut Oil (for greasing mold)
Instructions
- Lightly grease silicone molds with coconut oil.
- Pour the water into a small saucepan and sprinkle the gelatin powder evenly over the top. Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- Gently heat the saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not boil.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the beef bone broth and turmeric powder, if using. Mix until fully combined.
- Carefully pour the liquid mixture into the prepared silicone molds.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 to 4 hours, or until completely firm.
- Once set, gently pop the gummies out of the molds.
- Store the gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Use bone broth made without onions or garlic, as these are toxic to dogs.
- If you do not have silicone molds, you can pour the mixture into a shallow, parchment-lined dish and cut it into small squares once set.
- Feed these as a treat; do not exceed recommended daily serving based on your dog’s size.
