Description

Simple, homemade gelatin treats made with bone broth for your dog.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Beef or Chicken Bone Broth (unsalted, no onion or garlic)
  • 4 tablespoons Unflavored Gelatin Powder

Instructions

  1. Pour 1 cup of the bone broth into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the top and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat the saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not boil.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the remaining 1 cup of cold bone broth.
  4. Pour the liquid mixture into silicone molds (small candy molds work well).
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until completely firm.
  6. Pop the gummies out of the molds and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Always use bone broth made without salt, onion, or garlic, as these ingredients are toxic to dogs.
  • If you use a larger mold, the setting time may increase.
  • These gummies are best consumed within 7 to 10 days when stored properly in the refrigerator.
