Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- 1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup finely chopped spinach
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked quinoa, chopped carrots, chopped spinach, eggs, and water. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Press the mixture firmly onto the prepared baking sheet, aiming for a uniform thickness of about 1/4 inch.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked and the edges are slightly firm.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Once cool, cut the mixture into small, bite-sized kibble shapes using a knife or pizza cutter.
- Store the kibbles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for longer storage.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef.
- Ensure the quinoa is fully cooked before mixing it into the batter.
- Cut the kibbles into sizes appropriate for your dog’s breed and chewing ability.
