Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups beef or chicken bone broth (low sodium)
- 1/4 cup unflavored gelatin powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder (optional)
Instructions
- Pour 1/2 cup of the bone broth into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the broth and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
- Gently heat the saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not boil.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the remaining 1 1/2 cups of cold bone broth.
- If using, stir in the chopped parsley and turmeric powder.
- Pour the mixture into silicone molds (gummy bear or small square molds work well).
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until completely firm.
- Pop the gummies out of the molds and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Use high-quality, homemade, or low-sodium store-bought bone broth.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
- For a different flavor, you can substitute a small amount of pureed carrots or pumpkin for the parsley.
