Description
Homemade probiotic gummies made with bone broth to support your dog’s digestive and bone health.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup beef or chicken bone broth, cooled
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
- 1 teaspoon probiotic powder (dog-specific strain)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted (optional, for texture)
Instructions
- Pour the cooled bone broth and water into a small saucepan.
- Sprinkle the gelatin powder evenly over the liquid. Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- Gently heat the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is fully dissolved. Do not boil.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the probiotic powder and the melted coconut oil, if using. Mix well to combine.
- Pour the mixture into silicone molds (gummy or small candy molds work well).
- Refrigerate for at least 2 to 3 hours, or until completely firm.
- Carefully remove the gummies from the molds.
- Store the gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Use a bone broth made without salt or onions/garlic for your dog’s safety.
- If your dog is sensitive to coconut oil, you can omit it.
- Give these as a treat; do not exceed recommended daily serving based on your dog’s weight.
