Description

Simple recipe for making dog-safe gummies using bone broth and coconut milk.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups beef or chicken bone broth
  • 1/2 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • 4 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder

Instructions

  1. Pour the bone broth into a small saucepan.
  2. Sprinkle the gelatin powder evenly over the surface of the broth. Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  3. Place the saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not boil the mixture.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Whisk in the coconut milk until fully combined.
  5. Pour the liquid mixture into silicone molds suitable for small treats.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 3 to 4 hours, or until completely firm.
  7. Pop the gummies out of the molds and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Always use unflavored gelatin.
  • Check with your veterinarian before introducing new foods to your dog’s diet.
