Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breast thinly, about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Add chicken slices to the marinade and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  4. Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Arrange chicken slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 2 to 4 hours, or until the jerky is dry and chewy. The exact time will depend on the thickness of your chicken slices and your oven.
