Simple recipe for homemade, chewable supplements for canine bone and joint support.
Ingredients

- 1 cup beef bone broth, cooled
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
- 1 teaspoon calcium powder (food grade)
- 1 teaspoon collagen powder (food grade)
Instructions
- Pour the cooled bone broth and water into a small saucepan.
- Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the liquid and let it bloom for five minutes.
- Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not boil.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat.
- Whisk in the calcium powder and collagen powder until fully incorporated and smooth.
- Pour the liquid mixture into silicone gummy molds.
- Refrigerate for at least four hours, or until completely firm.
- Pop the gummies out of the molds.
- Store the finished gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Give your dog one or two gummies daily, depending on size.
- If your dog does not like the flavor, you can add a small amount of unsweetened peanut butter before chilling.
