Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef top round, sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, black pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Add beef slices and marinate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your oven to 170°F (77°C) or set your dehydrator to the same temperature.
- Arrange beef slices in a single layer on baking sheets lined with parchment paper or on dehydrator trays.
- Bake or dehydrate for 4-6 hours, or until the jerky is dry and leathery.
- Allow jerky to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
Notes
- For a spicier jerky, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the marinade.
- Ensure your beef is lean to prevent spoilage.
- Store jerky in a cool, dry place for up to 2 weeks.
