Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add sliced beef and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add sliced onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet.
  7. Pour the broth mixture over the beef and onions. Stir and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
  8. Stir in chopped parsley.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Serve immediately.
