Ingredients

- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced beef and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
- Add sliced onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
- Return the beef to the skillet.
- Pour the broth mixture over the beef and onions. Stir and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
- Stir in chopped parsley.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
