- 1 medium apple, cored and diced

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
- Add diced apple, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat, cover, and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until apples are tender and flavors have melded.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute with plant-based ground ‘beef’ and vegetable broth.
- You can add other immune-boosting vegetables like spinach or kale in the last 5 minutes of cooking.
