Description
Simple recipe for homemade apple cider vinegar gummies to support your dog’s bone health.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
- 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
- 1 tablespoon bone broth powder (optional, for flavor)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil (for greasing molds)
Instructions
- Lightly grease silicone molds with coconut oil.
- In a small saucepan, combine water and apple cider vinegar. Heat over medium-low heat until warm, but not boiling.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Sprinkle the gelatin powder evenly over the liquid surface and let it bloom for five minutes.
- Whisk the mixture gently until the gelatin is completely dissolved and there are no lumps. If using, whisk in the bone broth powder now.
- Carefully pour the liquid mixture into the prepared silicone molds.
- Refrigerate for at least two to three hours, or until the gummies are firm.
- Gently remove the gummies from the molds. Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Start by giving your dog one small gummy per day, adjusting based on your veterinarian’s advice.
- If you do not have bone broth powder, you can omit it.
- Ensure the apple cider vinegar you use contains the ‘mother’.
