Simple recipe for homemade apple and bone broth gummy treats for dogs.
Ingredients

- 1 cup beef bone broth, unsalted
- 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
Instructions
- Pour the bone broth into a small saucepan.
- Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the broth and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not boil.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat.
- Stir in the apple sauce until fully combined.
- Pour the mixture into silicone bone-shaped molds.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
- Remove gummies from molds and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Use low-sodium or homemade bone broth without added salt or seasonings.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- These treats are best given in moderation.
